Studies & Reviews

The following are just a few of the studies that have shaped my view of Emotional Fitness. Our understanding of the mind and emotions continues to grow drastically. Jeff Lichtmann has famously been attributed with opening his courses by asking his students at Harvard to consider if knowing everything possible about the brain is a mile, how far have we traveled? Their answers tended to range from a quarter-mile to three-quarters of a mile. His answer: 3 inches. He stated our mandate in life as scientists is to be drenched in noncomprehension and to be suspicious of when we really think we know how things work 1. My commitment is to stay curious, stay updated, and continually integrate new developments and findings into my practice and offerings.
